Romanian handball side Dinamo Bucharest secured a
dramatic 29-28 win against Croatian team PPD Zagreb on Wednesday in an away
game counting towards the group A of the Champions League. Ukrainian Andrii
Akimenko scored the victory goal for the Romanian champions through a 7-meter
throw in the game's last second, while Nicusor Negru scored the largest number
of goals for his side, 7. This has been Dinamo's second win in the present
edition of the league. In Group A, they are ranking 6th, five points
out of six matches.

Also in FIBA Europe Cup, in group E, CSM CSU Oradea clinched
a 77-69 home win against French side Cholet Basket. This has been CSM's third win
in a row after a bad start against the French. Also on Wednesday, Belgian side
Kangoeroes Mechelen obtained a home win against Bulgarian team Rilski Sportist
Samokov, 105 - 74. Oradea and Mechelen are heading the group, each with 7
points being followed by Cholet with 6 and Samokov with 4.
In EuroCup, Group A, U-BT Cluj-Napoca has been
outperformed by Lithuanian side Lietkabelis Panevėžys, 89-84. This has been the
Romanian's second defeat in a row and their third in this EuroCup season. With
